For five decades, Assyrian radio has been an important voice for the Assyrian community in Australia — connecting generations and helping keep our language, culture, stories, music and traditions alive.

From the early days of 2EA through to SBS, Assyrian broadcasting has provided a place for our community to share its stories, celebrate its achievements and stay connected across generations.

This special anniversary celebration will bring together past and present broadcasters, community leaders, families, friends and supporters to reflect on the people and memories that have shaped the journey of Assyrian broadcasting in Australia.

We will also celebrate 57 years of the Assyrian Australian Association, recognising its longstanding contribution to the Assyrian community and its ongoing commitment to preserving our culture, heritage and community connections.
