50+ Years of Human Sciences/Human Ecology at the ANU

Did you study, research, or teach in any permutation of the Human Sciences (1972-1987) or Human Ecology (1987- Present) Programs at the ANU?

Then please join us to celebrate 50+ years of these Programs!

• Where: Fellows Garden, University House, ANU (newly reopened!)

• When: Friday 6th Nov, 3pm-6pm

• Who: Past and Present students, lecturers, tutors, researchers, and Human Ecology diehards (families also welcome!)

The event is BYO (Buy Your Own), but will be an amazing opportunity to connect (or reconnect!) with past and present contributors to and participants of this profoundly important academic program.

As a feature of the day, we want to present some of the memories and stories formed in the Program over the last 5 decades. You can submit stories or pictures here (survey link) and they will be collated in some form for viewing and discussion on the day.

We have no contact list from all these years, so please share the word (and this RSVP link) to anyone relevant you know!

Please RSVP by 29th October through Humantix so we can give Uni House an idea of expected numbers.

(Please still come if you miss that deadline, but early indicative numbers will be very helpful!)

Organised by David Dumaresq, Rob Dyball, and Pele Cannon
