50th Anniversary Gala Dinner

ELTHAM College invites you to the night of nights, our 50th anniversary Gala Dinner.  

We invite our whole community to celebrate our rich history and help us in creating our future. 

Date: Saturday 10 August 2024 

Time: 7.00pm – Midnight 

Venue: Metropolis Events 

Address: Upper Level, Southgate, Shopping Precinct, Southbank VIC 3006 

Join us at the Metropolis, a superb venue in the heart of the city of Melbourne, for this premium event in our 50th Anniversary program.  

Expect a night of delight and nostalgia, where new memories will be made. We invite everyone who has been a part of ELTHAM Colleges' 50-year history to be a part of our 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner: founders and their families, parents, alumni, donors, past and present staff, and valued friends of the College.  

TICKET PRICING 

• Individual Ticket $200 per guest + booking fee 
• Table of Ten $2000 per table + booking fee 
   

Your ticket is all inclusive of: 

• Pre-dinner drinks and canape reception 
• Three course dinner, including alternate entrée and main course, side and a selection of dessert canapes, tea and coffee. 
• Beverage offering of sparkling, wines, beers and soft drinks are complimentary throughout the night. Champagne, spirits, and cocktails available for purchase at the bar. 
• Entertainment from Melbourne’s premier cover band Chunky Jam, musical performances from ELTHAM College current and past students, and plenty more entertainment across the evening  
• Cloak room. 

Please read the below carefully as it contains information to help with your ticket purchases. 

BOOK YOUR TICKETS 

Tickets can be purchased individually or in tables of ten.  

Please be aware that once you commence the booking you have 30 minutes to enter your details before you are timed out. We recommend having all the information at hand before purchasing your ticket/s, especially if purchasing a table of 10.  

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS 

If you are purchasing an individual ticket and would like to be seated with a particular group, when prompted for seating requests you can search the full name of the other ticket holders and purchase available seats at the same table. 

MULTIPLE TICKETS AND TABLES OF 10 

We recommend one person books tickets on behalf of the group. 

When purchasing multiple tickets or a table for you and your friends, please have the following information ready when booking:  

• Full name of each guest 
• Their individual email addresses 
• Their dietary requirements.  

Please note: Table of 10 bookings are limited to one table per booking.  If you are booking a table, you will need to fill in the details of all ten guests. You will have 30 minutes to complete your booking before it times out.  You will need to click and enter details for each available seat.

Bookings close on Friday 26 July 2024 UNLESS SOLD OUT PRIOR. 

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS 

If you have any dietary requirements, please specify these when prompted on the 'Ticket Holders Information' page. The venue can cater for most dietary requirements, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, coeliac, lactose free, gluten and lactose free, nut and other allergies. 

DRESS CODE 

The dress code for this event is Black Tie. Typically, black tie is a formal evening gown or cocktail dress, tuxedo, or suit. 

PARKING 

Public car parking is available below the Southgate precinct. Pre-paid guest parking can be arranged directly with Wilson Car Parking (70 City Rd).

Alternative car parks include: Wilsons Car Park (158 City Rd) and Wilsons Car Park (2 Riverside Quay) 

ACCOMMODATION 

Quay West Suites (26 Southgate Ave) and Mercure Melbourne (9 Riverside Quay) are in walking distance from the venue. The venue also has a collaboration with The Langham Hotel (1 Southgate Ave) which you may like to reference if booking there.  

REFUNDS  

We will be unable to offer refunds within 14 days of the event. 

A refund will be available prior to this time if the ticket can be resold to an individual on the waitlist. We understand that sometimes things happen so we will attempt to accommodate where possible. WAITLIST

Once ticket allocation is exhausted you will be able to add your name to the waitlist and will be contacted when a seat is available.
