A day to night party, blessed by a stellar array of house music from start to finish. Gracing the dance floor for the day, we have renown Simon TK b2b Lauren Hansom alongside Sydney specialist Simon Caldwell.

Joining these big time legends we have the mesmerising selectors Sara Wills and The Washing Machine DJs, providing some early hour ear candy.

Bring your smiles, your best dance moves and tell your mates - this will be a memorable start to The 515s return. Oh and don’t forget - phone your loved one to book it in for a special valentine’s date.

Simon TK:
Simon TK is a multifaceted music operator. A true champion of diversity in sound and community, it’s hard to overstate the impact that Simon has had on the Melbourne music community across his over-a-decade long involvement in all areas of the scene. At the heart of this involvement is Simon’s expansive musical knowledge. An exceptionally versatile DJ, Simon is one of those rare selectors you could call upon to soundtrack almost any occasion - not just appropriately but perfectly. From psych-rock to psy-trance, rare digs or hands in the air, Simon particularly thrives in environments that challenge people’s perception of reality and identity.

Outside Djing, Simon’s community care and sprawling networks have led to two quintessential projects that continue to foster spaces for conversation and connection. In 2018 he co-founded Skylab, an online radio station that has become a vital platform for diverse musical voices and showcasing the very best in local and international talent.

On the more playful side of things, Simon has built, curated and cultivated the now-institution that is Wax’o Paradiso alongside long-term collaborator Edd Fisher. Having recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary this legendary events series turned record label herds 1000s of ecstatic punters every year whilst unearthing and releasing contemporary antipodean sounds. From his deep musical knowledge to his community-first ethos, Simon TK continues to inspire, connect, and challenge, embodying the spirit of Melbourne’s ever-evolving music culture.

Lauren Hansom:
Australian native Lauren Hansom has been bending musical rules with oddball selections weaving through genres and eras across the continents.
Her unprecedented approach to narrating dance floors has brought her quickly into the club and festival circuit making appearances at Dekmantel’s Lente Kabinet, Kala Festival, De School, Salon des Amateurs, Horst Music & Arts Festival and Opium Club to name just a few. For Lauren, music is endless and there are no boundaries when it comes to her exploration of it.

Simon Caldwell:
Simon Caldwell is one of a handful of DJ's whose name adds a certain integrity to an event. Playing since the early 1990’s to beer drinkers, bum shakers and radio listeners alike, he has managed to avoid the stifling 'style' classification so many other DJ's trap themselves into, keeping himself free to draw on his varied loves of deep, soulful house, techno, funk, jazz, electro, booty, hip hop and anything else which catches his ear.
Simon has supported (on the same stage) a list of internationals longer than your arm, including Theo Parrish, James Brown, DJ Sotofett, Todd Terje, Rolando, Herbert, Claude Young, Maurice Fulton, Grace Jones, Derrick Carter, Vakula, Moodymann, Actress, Onra, Moritz von Oswald, Charles Webster, Fred P and Frankie Knuckles, to name just a few.
He currently holds down Monday Sunset on FBI Radio, and is resident/co-promoter of Mad Racket, a Sydney underground party institution running since 1998. Among many podcasts and live mixes, Simon has been invited to present mixes for Resident Advisor’s illustrious podcast (#181), Melbourne Deepcast, John Digweed’s Transitions show and Boiler Room (in early 2014).
In mid 2014 Simon based himself in Berlin for three months and played 5 shows there at clubs including Wilde Renate and Prince Charles, plus 2 shows in Russia and shows in Hamburg (Golden Pudel Club) and London (Rhythm Section, Peckham).
