Take a step towards a healthier and more active lifestyle with our FREE 5x5 program.

5x5 is a free, non-competitive walking event for the whole community. Set out over a 3-5km route, the course is completed once a week for 5weeks. This weekly walking group focuses on movement, wellbeing and social connection.

Each week we’ll meet at 10.00am at the Kanahooka Boat ramp, next to the Kanahooka parking lot on Kanahooka Rd. From there, we’ll enjoy a 4KM walk.

Starting at Kanahooka boat ramp the walk takes you through Kanahooka Park and around the lake edge, through the tree-lined Lakeside Reserve to the Koonawarra Bay Viewing Platform at Brooks Creek and back!

Enjoy the chance to meet new people and chat with our friendly health promotion officer and volunteers. Light refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the walk.

Please bring a water bottle and hat
Please ensure that you are fit enough to walk 4km with us.
