6pm Speakeasy @ Austin Club: a spoken word event in the heart of Ōtautahi's CBD.
Coming at you live with a fresh new feature, last Thursday of every month.
MCed by Jor Dansaren and generously hosted by Austin Club Basement Bar - 161 Cashel Street, Christchurch.

$5 - early bird/concession

April feature: Jeff Cotten!
Jeff Cotten, recent absconder from Alabama, USA, was told by his mom that he was a really good poet. By the time he figured out she was just being supportive, it was too late. Jeff’s proudest accomplishments include being published by age 10, being an editor for three academic poetry publications, serving as VP for a collegiate poetry society, and being booed off stage by his uni peers while taking 1st place at a slam. Having performed at the most exceptionally dilapidated of venues, Jeff has now worked his way up to being a featured poet at the swanky Austin Club 6pm Speakeasy in New Zealand.
