6th Annual SPEECH Regional Cancer Health Disparity Conference

Join us for the 6th Annual SPEECH Regional Cancer Health Disparity Conference, where experts and professionals from the field will gather to discuss and address the challenges surrounding cancer health disparities. This in-person event will be held at Hunter College, New York.

The Synergistic Partnership for Enhancing Equity in Cancer Health (SPEECH), a NIH funded regional comprehensive cancer health disparities partnership between Temple University/Fox Chase Cancer Center and Hunter College (TUFCCC/HC). We invite students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty to submit abstracts for poster presentation. The purpose of this conference is to promote the advancement of research in cancer health disparities.

Conference Highlights:

  • Keynote speaker and SPEECH investigators opening conference session
  • Poster presentations by students, postdocs and junior faculty
  • Lunch networking session with investigators, faculty, researchers and professionals in the cancer research
  • Career development workshop for funding opportunities provided by NCI for students and early stage investigators
  • Mentor training workshop for mentors, trainees, or other interested individuals
