Round 241: Darby Grey, Lauren Fernandez, Dan Sodomka, live painter Xan McPherson, spoken word poet @ FREMONT ABBEY
Event description
The Round (241) featuring musicians
Artist name:
Darby Grey
Darby Grey is a Seattle-based singer-songwriter originating from the Bay Area. She combines mesmerizing fingerpicking and poignant lyrics to create refreshingly relatable songs that navigate the confusing nature of modern life, love, and personal growth.
Lauren Fernandez
Lauren Fernandez is an alternative singer-songwriter with a dream of fostering community through music and storytelling. Combining dynamic guitar playing with delicate vocals, she weaves together sentimental lyrics to share stories of human connection, home, and belonging.
Dan Sodomka
Usually seen toting a parlor guitar worn down from his pick and flick Americana stylings. Dan Sodomka’s songwriting takes you to a simpler time and place. One where the wood stove is roaring, tea is hot, and we have time to examine the beauty, pain, and complexities of life.
+ spoken word poet TBA
& live painter Xan McPherson
Xan is a Colorado mountain grown artist with a love for capturing the colors of a moment. Her watercolor work is inspired by the beautiful world that surrounds us, from the top of Washington's volcanoes to the ocean shores of Australia. When Xan isn't painting or studying for her PhD in physics, she can be found skiing, camping, hiking, and enjoying sunsets.
