Monoprint Workshop with Layli Rakhsha and Monika Lukowska-Appel

Join artists from the current exhibition, Seven Forms (Geraldton ‘26), at Geraldton Regional Art Gallery.
Date: Saturday 6 June
Time: 10am - 12pm
Tickets: This workshop is limited to 10 participants
This workshop will introduce you to the history of mono print and allow you to freely explore your ideas through subtractive and additive mono print. It is a great opportunity to meet Layli and Monika, share your ideas with us, and receive some technical advice. We will use acrylic paints and paper, and you are welcome to bring your own tools to draw or make marks. Feel free to bring your own paper and brushes to the workshop as well, so you have materials that you are comfortable working with.
Both Layli and Monika are experienced printmakers and art teachers. Together they look forward to supporting you in your creative journey.
By the end of the workshop, you will have created experimental pieces or a finished artwork, which can help you further extend your exploration and skills. We hope this session inspires you to continue experimenting with mono printing beyond the workshop.
