Swamp-blues-rocker 8 Ball Aitken, soul-blues sensation Taya Chani and mystical singer Jessy Lynch are getting together for one night only playing OTiS in Leichhardt, Sydney.

8 Ball Aitken toured the world for more than a decade performing his swampy-blues across twenty countries. 8 Ball lived and toured based out of Nashville, USA for nine years. He won second place in the 2021 International New Orleans Cigar Box Guitar Festival. 8 Ball is back with a brand-new album ‘ICE CREAM MAN 2’ that hit #1 in the Australian Blues & Roots Charts this year. Lead single ‘WADING THROUGH MUDDY WATER’ hit #1 on the AMRAP METRO Charts for two weeks. 8 Ball’s partner Jessy Lynch is a mystical rocker with a soulful voice. They’ve toured Australia together, had a baby boy this year and call the Sunshine Coast home.

Taya Chani is a Sydney based singer, songwriter, and guitarist. With a soothing voice, she effortlessly incorporates blues, soul, Americana, jazz, funk, and R’N’B. Taya delivers a genuine and comforting set that digs deep. Her debut album Restless Heart features a top notch lineup of her Sydney musician friends. Taya has shared stages with many of Australia’s top blues and roots artists. Taya has travelled to the Deep South of America and performed in New Orleans, Clarksdale, Nashville, and Memphis. Taya always returns to her native Australia, with a stronger goal, greater drive and overflowing with inspiration to write and create authentic music.
