Event description
Dance to your favourite 80’s hits without leaving the kids at home - because everyone just wants to have fun!
Join 80's DJ wizard Peter Baecker with his wild costumes and awesome tunes, bursting with more energy than 99 Luftballoons! Get ready to raise the roof with your kids at the FunHaus.
Peter Baecker’s 80's Kids Disco continues introducing kids to the universal joy of 80’s pop music. Everyone is invited to party, explore and dance at a “baby rave” for all generations.
The Austrian-born performance artist takes an audience of little ones on a journey of self-exploring; try- ing to dj, make announcements, jump around and enjoy their creativity by choosing the funniest outfit from the big dress-up wardrobe - all to the energetic rhythm of 80’s pop. Everything is in play at this interactive kids disco.
“It’s simply magical, when parents and kids party together. The boundaries are blurred and it’s just about enjoying themselves and creating the most fun they can have. Children are inherently creative, and a large part of the way I work with audiences is similar to ‘play’, which comes so naturally to children.”
Peter invites his audience to enjoy a playground, powered by the uniting forces of 80’s pop music and laugh as much as they can. And of course there are a lot of balloons (maybe 99.)
“Dancing with costumes is awesome. The 80s songs are cool too. We want more!” - Larson (6) and Opal (3), FiveAA
“This is soooo much fun!” - Sarah (5)
“Haven’t danced that much, probably since the 80’s” - Mary (45)
