Meet the Authors:
Kristin Martin (preschool) and Helen Edwards (primary years) will join in the fun and will be available for book signings and sales of their popular books!
Kristin Martin will read from one of her picture books at Storytime at 10am-11am.
Or join Helen Edwards as she chats about her middle-grade books in the meeting room 10.30am-11.30am.

Kristin Martin
Kristin Martin is a poet, picture book author and primary school teacher. Her books include Where Shall We Travel Today? (MidnightSun Publishing, 2025), and the Easter Bilby’s Friends series: Banjo Frog’s Concert Spectacular and Honey Possum’s Bush Café (Wakefield Press, 2024, 2025). She lives in Adelaide near the sea with her family, turtles, green tree frogs and a bearded dragon named Ash.
Dr Helen Edwards
Dr Helen Edwards is an award-winning author, speaker and passionate advocate for nature and our children’s wellbeing. Helen worked for decades in mental health and has a PhD in Psychology. She writes stories that reduce stereotypes, increase understanding of diversity, and feature Australian nature and history. She believes that all children should see themselves in books. She lives in Adelaide with her family, two ageing cats and a very active rescue kelpie who remind her daily to stop and enjoy each moment. Author of: A Light on the Rocks, The Rebels of Mount Buffalo, Legend of the Lighthouse Moon, On Gallant Wings and The Disappearing Circus, co-written with CBCA award-winning author Kate Gordon.
