Event description

Get ready to belt out your favourite tunes from the totally rad decade of the 1980s. Join us for a night filled with nostalgia, fun, and of course, fantastic music.

Whether you're an '80s baby or just love the music from that era, this event is sure to be a blast.

How it works:

  • Four to five songs will be pre-chosen for the group to sing. The list will be sent to you in advance of the event.

  • We do 15-20 minutes of body and vocal warm-ups to help release any nerves.

  • A lyric booklet will be given to you.

  • We will sing through all the songs as a group, workshopping any tricky bits so you feel confident about hitting those notes with power and confidence!

  • At the end, we vote on the group's favourite song and sing it one more time. At this point, anyone who wants to take a solo may do so, but no pressure!

This is about having fun singing songs you know and love. No prior singing experience needed, and no pressure!

Perfect for you if:

  • You love to sing, but never get an opportunity to really belt it out!

  • You want to build confidence in your singing without being in the spotlight.

  • You want to meet other like-minded singers and be part of a growing singing community!

  • You love 80s music!!

Co-hosted by Frances Castley, founder and Vocal Coach at Voice Conscious, and Ruth Freiheit, Vocal Coach and Singer/Songwriter.
