8th Drill & Blast Down Under Conference 2024 - Australian Chapter

The International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) Australia Chapter are proud to present the 8th Drill & Blast Down Under Conference 2024 on the 23rd & 24th October at Crown Perth in WA.

The Conference Committee has sourced a diverse mix of topics covering equipment, decarbonisation, fragmentation, risk, underground, explosives and optimisation. The program will feature a Standards Update, a Regulator Panel with questions from the audience and we will hand out the following annual awards - Driller of the Year (DOTY), Shotfirer of the Year (SOTY), Past President Award, Distinguished Service and Paper of the Year.

Our keynote speakers Dr Nick Mabbot, Fatigue Risk Management Specialist from Beyond Midnight Consulting and Soa Palelei, Wellness Ambassador & mental Health Advocate from Strong Minds, Strong Mines will explore the very relevant topics of the importance of good sleep, injury prevention and improved physical health, wellness and mental health. We look forward to welcoming you to the conference in 2024 to share technical information with our industry and learn from experts in the field.
