The International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) Australian Chapter are proud to announce the dates for the 9th Drill & Blast Down Under Conference 2025 on the 4th, 5th & 6th of November at The Star Casino, Gold Coast, Queensland.

The Conference Committee has sourced a diverse mix of topics covering optimisation, digitisation, modelling & AI, explosives, specialty blasting, underground vibration, environment and wall control. This year we will be running an additional drilling stream with sessions running concurrently on Thursday the 5th November to the main conference presentations.

The program will feature a Regulators Panel with questions from the audience and we will hand out the following annual awards - Driller of the Year (DOTY), Shotfirer of the Year (SOTY), Past President Award, Distinguished Service, ISEE Fellow and Paper of the Year.

We are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker for 2025 is none other than Darren Flanagan who played a pivotal role in the Beaconsfield mine disaster in 2006.

The ISEE Australian Chapter look forward to welcoming you to the conference to share technical information amongst our industry and to learn from experts in the field.
