The students from Exhibition Practice in the Art Centred Studio (Photography Discipline, RMIT) invite you to ______see ______do at Next Wave.

Together in Exhibition Practice, the students have been deepening their observation and critical skills to materialise the practice and theories of photography in a multiverse of ways.

In this studio, they have mobilised action research that uses Next Wave’s space, Brunswick Mechanics Institute, as a landscape to question colonial power. Through the instrumentalisation of the image, they have created performances, installations, publications, and site-specific interventions. These emerging image makers exhibit their research in critically informed, responsive, and productive ways that action their pedagogical inquiries.
