Event description

Come along to another fantastic event by Te Puke Kiwicoast Lions.

We are privileged to have keynote speaker Dougal Sutherland, a well-known Registered Clinical Psychologist. Dougal has a passion for working with people experiencing stress, anxiety and depression.  He will discuss why men in general are slower to take up mental health support and what they (men) and those around them can do to break down some of the barriers.

Our second speaker will be the enigmatic Paul Walker – Facilitator for the BOP Rural Support Trust. Paul will share what his role as a facilitator is, his personal experiences and what BOP Rural Support Trust is all about.

There will be a light supper and to conclude the evening with a bang we have put together a ‘fun men's clothing fashion parade' (Paul Walker will be one of our models!) - intended to bring a smile to everyone's face.

Funds raised will be donated to Bay of Plenty Rural Support Trust which is a charitable organisation that supports the rural community of farmers, horticulturalists and their families.

We wish to thank Trevelyan's for their support of this event.

We are so excited to bring this event to the Te Puke community and look forward to seeing you there!
