    Event description

Are you ready for a bush adventure?

As part of the Canberra Festival of Nature: Glorious Grasslands, Tiny Creators and Southern ACT Catchment Group are teaming up to bring to you a bush adventure at the Little Taylor Grassy Woodlands in Kambah. Whether you're a parent, carer, grandparent or just have a special child in your life then this is the event for you.

We'll spend the morning learning about the importance of our grasslands and how we can protect them all in a fun and age appropriate way. Best suited to kids ages from 2-5 and their grown up, we'll meet at the grasslands ready for a scavenger hunt, looking for invasive weeds, participate in some light weeding before learning how to make a weedy tea. We'll close the session with a book.

Lets build community and teach the young people in our lives the importance of earth care, teamwork and the value of volunteering. We can't wait to see you there.
