Black Gospel! Rhythm & Freedom! Open to Everyone!
Tony works with the passionate and exciting African-American repertoire, focusing on spirituals, gospel songs old and new, choral and quartet styles, and embracing South African church songs. The emphasis is on harmony, collective improvisation and freedom of expression.
No music-reading skills are required, and you may record the sessions.
TICKETING - We suggest pre booking as numbers are limited. Tickets CAN be purchased at the door. Please bring CASH as we do not carry credit card facilities.
WHAT TO BRING - Please bring your own tea mug/cup and BYO water bottle with water. If you also bring a share plate for morning tea on one of the two days, that would be most appreciated.
MORNING TEA - Tea and light refreshment will be supplied.
LUNCH - We want to maximise your singing experience with Tony so BYO lunch. There are also nearby food outlets. The Village Bakery and a 4 Square supermarket is next door and the Sprig and Fern is across the road for food and drink open from 12 noon. The Wharf (1km away) has a cafe, restaurant and bar facilities.
PARKING - Availability for 20 cars on site. Plenty of parallel parks across the road.
RE COVID - Masks welcome to be worn.
