Join us for an inspiring afternoon, celebrating some of the breathtaking wilderness in South Australia.

Enjoy a stunning photo exhibition featuring images captured by The Wilderness Society SA (TWS SA) team during their 2024 expeditions into some of the state’s most remote and awe-inspiring Country.

🎤 Hear from Peter Owen, Director of The Wilderness Society SA, as he shares the stories behind these powerful images - highlighting the beauty, ecological significance, and the urgent need to protect these iconic places.

This is a one-off event and the only time during Nature Festival that the TWS SA team will be there in person to share the stories behind the images and the special places they’re working to protect.

No worries, the self-guided exhibition is open daily during the Port Admiral Hotel’s regular hours throughout Nature Festival 2025.
Free entry – no ticket needed.
The event on 28 Sept is the only time the TWS SA team will be there in person to talk about the images.

Wilderness is any remote area of land or sea which, following thousands of years of First Nations' Traditional Ownership, continues to support large, intact functioning ecosystems unaffected, or affected to only a minor extent, by the impacts of modern industrial society.
