A Collaborative Performance on Grief Guided by Becca Loevy with live music by Adriana Jones Rincon

Event description

Grief, like water, moves into the empty spaces. It fills up our losses, our anger, our confusion. If it has space, it can transform us, and remind us, perhaps, to praise what we do have, what we can do.

Join us for an opportunity to gather and acknowledge grief and it’s incredible weight, and alchemize together through a dance performance, live music, and the collective creation of a grief altar that will stay up for the month of February.

If called to be a part of the altar, consider bringing a piece of significance to you. It could be a representation of loss, a sentimental token, a talisman that guides you through the tough times, etc. All objects placed on the altar can be taken back whenever the giver feels called, at any time over the month of February.
