A cuppa with Chris Nickson - the Richard Nottingham & Simon Westow series
Event description
Chris Nickson was born and raised in Leeds, and the city is in his DNA. It’s in his historical fiction, too—his atmospheric and meticulously-researched novels tell the story of the city from the 1730s to the 1950s.
This event is a rare opportunity to engage with Chris as part of a small, informal group. You’ll have the opportunity to hear Chris read from his work, as well as to chat about your favourite book, characters, and plots. Chris will also be selling copies of his books, which are also available on the shleves of the library. There will also, crucially, be hot drinks and biscuits.
This event focusses on the Richard Nottingham and Simon Westow series, covering the historical period 1730 to 1827. An event the following week, on 15th November, will focus on the Tom Harper, Cathy Marsden, and Dan Markham series. Tickets for this event are available here.
