This event marks a proud moment for us, our third consecutive year on the World’s Best Steak Restaurant list, and our second year as the only New Zealand venue to be included.
We’re pausing to celebrate that achievement and the people who made it possible.

To celebrate three consecutive years on the World’s Best Steak Restaurants list, Fife Lane presents A Cut Above — an exclusive, one-night-only event showcasing the craft, fire, and flavour that have earned us global recognition. Guests will enjoy canapes on arrival, a refined three-course menu centred around the dishes that have got us to the world stage, prepared with precision and paired with optional curated wines to elevate every bite. Set within the intimate surrounds of our award-winning venue, this is more than a dinner, it’s a tribute to excellence and a milestone worth raising a glass to.

A Cut Above – Event Terms & Conditions
Strictly limited seats available. A Cut Above is a one-night-only curated menu experience. Each ticket admits one guest and includes canapés on arrival and a three-course shared dinner served to the table. Beverages are available to purchase separately on the night.
Menus are set. While limited adjustments can be made for gluten- or dairy-free preferences, we regret that specific dietary accommodations cannot be guaranteed and no changes will be available on the night. If you have any questions about this, please contact us at functions@fifelane.co.nz.
Seating is communal. If you wish to be seated with another guest, please include this information when purchasing tickets — we will do our best to accommodate your request, but it cannot be guaranteed.
Maximum of four tickets per transaction. Ticket refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event and are transferable with prior notice. After this time, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
