A Day of Dramatherapy
Description
A Day of Dramatherapy
In our world of discord and divisiveness, we are faced with much that can feel numbing and disconnecting-both to us and those we work with. Core to Dramatherapy practice, is creativity, reminding us of our most valuable resource as humans-to feel, connect, express, communicate, imagine and notice in new ways. Co-creative process offers new possibilities for shared exploration, perspective-building, and connection to self and others.
Join Dramatherapists Dr Kirsten Meyer and Dr Amanda Musicka-Williams in this experiential workshop using play, metaphor, sculpting and storytelling, across a spectrum of inclusive practice, to learn therapeutic techniques for working alongside diverse individuals and groups in embodied and creative ways.
Together we will explore what it means to co-create and reflect on how this approach may support hope and connection in current times.
What to Expect
The day will be experiential, creative and relaxed, offering an opportunity to connect with like-minded people and explore dramatherapy approaches through doing, noticing and reflecting.
