A day of Rhythm and Ritual // Sunday, Sept 24th // Spring Equinox

Due to the wild weather, we’re unfortunately having to change the format of our Spring Equinox gathering. On a brighter note, this means we have a few additional spaces for people wanting to join for the full day or just the evening dance. 

~This Sunday, 9am - 9pm at the Glenorchy Community Hall~

We come together to honour the rhythms of the earth and greet the dawn of a new cycle. A space to cherish yourself and to explore the opportunities that lie ahead.

9.00 - 10.00 am / Welcome Circle & Spring Tea

10.00 - 11.30 am / Gentle movement practice incl. elemental yoga, somatic movement, & seasonal Yoga Nidra 

11.30 - 12.30 pm / Nourishing Lunch 

12.30 - 3:00 pm / Break for an optional walk (weather-dependent), connection and reflection time

3.00 - 4:30 pm / Inquiry into the energies of Spring through subtle movement and somatic exercises

4:30 - 5.30 pm / Space to share, reflect, and journal on the seasons past and coming

5:30 - 6:00 pm / Tea Break

6.00 - 7.30 pm / Eco-somatic Dance 

from 7.30 pm / Spring Equinox Celebration Feast and fire-side jam (feel free to bring instruments) 

Fully catered: we’ll provide you with a full day of delicious food and teas, including morning tea and treats, lunch, afternoon snacks, and after dance celebratory feast. *Fully plant-based and gluten-free options.* 

Option 1: Total investment Full Day $120 (from 9.00 am, please arrive 10-15 min before) 
Option 2:
Dance & Dinner only $45 (from 6.00 pm, please arrive 10-15 min before) 

Please bring:

~Yoga mat, cushion or block to sit on, blanket for Yoga Nidra, water bottle, and tea cup

Meet the facilitators: Sierra & Charlotte

Sierra is a passionate advocate for freedom and authentic expression. From childhood to her travels into remote environments and cultures she continues to be curious about the natural world and what weaves and connects us all together. Throughout her devotion to this inquiry she has discovered the art and wisdom of the body through yoga, dance, and eco-somatic movement over the last 8 years. She invites you compassionately into deeper exploration of your inner landscape with soulful poetic guidance.

Charlotte is an expert in the science of cyclical wellbeing and how aligning with the rhythms of nature can support us in how we live, work and create. She holds an MSc in wellbeing psychology and is a Red School certified Menstruality Mentor. As well as running her wellbeing practice, Charlotte offers cyclical wellbeing consulting to businesses and one-on-one sessions for guests at Aro Hā Wellness Retreat.
