A Discovery of Coastal birds 'walk & talk' 8.15am - 10.15am
A fun exploration of the beautiful coastal birds around the South Maroubra sand dunes with BirdLife educator Renée Ferster Levy.
From waterbirds to bush birds and some high in the sky, we hope to see lots of summertime activity - calling, feeding, wading, chasing … maybe even nesting! Learn to identify birds by sight and sound, and find out how we can enhance our local habitats to help them.
This activity requires some exertion in walking on sand, up and down steps and on slippery and uneven surfaces.
Meet at South Maroubra Surf Lifesaving Club. Wear closed-in shoes, sunhat and long sleeve top. Bring raincoat (if needed) and water bottle. BYO Binoculars.
Conditions of booking

- All children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult guardian
