A DOUBLE SHOT OF BLUES starring CONTINENTAL ROBERT'S BLUES PARTY/THE BLOWOUT

Announcing an awesome evening of blues at Ziggy Pops!

Starring the one and only blues hit-maker himself, Continental Robert Susz on vocals and harmonica, Matt "The Rumble" Morrison guitar and vocals, "Skinny Junior" Antero Ceschin drums and vocals & Rowan "Express" Lane bass and vocals.

The band will be working out with some hip blues sounds in the style of Slim Harpo, Lazy Lester, Jimmy Reed and other blues greats.  Sydney’s Continental Robert, is well-known for his soulful style and smooth presence as Australia’s blues hit maker with the Dynamic Hepnotics’ “Soul Kinda Feeling” and the Mighty Reapers. 

Opening the show will be The Blow Out - authentic and original blues & roots from the bohemia of the South, playing cuts from “Version of You Sampler” - just hit the national charts at #15 in April.

Salty Trevarthen (Vox & Harmonica, Guitar) leads the band with Morgan Klose (Guitar), Peter Beulke (Bass) and Peter Hodges (Drums) – some of the finest players in the blues/roots genre. Acid blues guitar, jazz influenced drumming, rock solid bass. Butterfield inspired electric harp - Great blues, style and attitude to burn.
