A Good Day To Grow

Inviting young people (12-25) to join us for A Good Day To Grow, an afternoon all about Indoor Plants organised by Ballarat Action Climate Co-op for Vic Youth Fest 2022. 

You get to learn all about plant care, how to propagate plants and build your very own terrarium. We are passionate about reusing, reducing, recycling we invite you to BYO terrarium vessel (minimum 20cm diameter and enough room to fit a hand in) as well as any funky little toys or else you may have that would go well in a miniature Jurassic world. 

We hope this event will inspire and equip young people to green their personal spaces to promote healthier living environments and encourage healthy routines. Having plants in our personal space is proven to increase health and wellbeing. It creates a healthy living environment and can reduce anxiety and stress. 

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Thank you for indicating dietary and access requirements to we can accommodate for everyone's needs and make sure we all have the best time surrounded by plants.
