Event description

What is the core and why does it matter?

What is the best core exercise?

Do you need to strengthen your core and how?

We are going to answer these questions at the workshop.

In addition to that, we are going to look at how core function can affect low back and foot pain, breathing and balance, posture, sitting and walking.

We are going to find out how the shoulders influence the core and the other way around of course.

We are going to look at simple assessment and corrective exercises for the different whole-body core issues.

You will leave the workshop with a new understanding of your body. A plan and a handout with detailed explanation of the exercises will be emailed to you.

Restorative exercise is a biomechanics based system of corrective exercises and lifestyle changes and recommendations that encourages using parts of the body that aren't being used in modern life's every day activities in order to minimise wear and tear and optimise cellular regeneration throughout the whole body.
