A great opportunity at this scenic spot along the Tomaree Coastal Walk to help the coastal vegetation here thrive -- a bonus is enjoying whales, wildflowers and wow views!

National Parks and Wildlife Service’s new walkways and lookout provide us with new walking opportunities. We can give the vegetation here the opportunity to flourish. Just a couple of hours removing new bitou seedlings and a few larger invading bitou bushes, will make a big difference to the vitality of this wonderful area.

What better way to meet up with other caring people outdoors in this fantastic environment.

What to expect

Saturday 29th July 2023 morning

8.20am	Arrive and sign in
8.30am	Welcome, overview, equipment and walk to our site
9am	Working in groups at locations along the walk to Morna Point
10.45am	Depart our work sites to return to meeting point
11am	Sort and return tools Morning tea, close

Please register each participant separately. If this is your first activity with the Friends of Tomaree NP, you will asked to supply your contact details and those of an emergency contact who is not at this activity.

Once you register, you will receive an email via Humanitix with all information here, Friends of Tomaree contact info, what to wear and bring (closed shoes, long trousers, byo mug), and more. A day or so before the activity we'll send exact meeting location.
