A Mandala Meditation: Color a Sacred Circle
Event description
Start off the year with us and join this wonderful workshop!
Who couldn’t use an afternoon of tranquility and inner peace? This workshop offers a unique approach to achieving meditation through the art of mandala coloring.
Mandala means “sacred circle.” Mandalas have been used for centuries as aids in healing, their circular form help organize perception, thought and physical responses in positive ways.
Creative self-expression at its best – time spent coloring a mandala allows your body and mind to instinctively respond. These sacred circles create patterns the mind can understand, thus bringing order and harmony, creating a “drop in meditative state” without having to meditate. A perfect way to start off 2026 in harmony!
This workshop will be lead by Elizabeth Irvine (elizabethirvine.com) who has a Passion For Healing Through Visual Art. She is an author, artist, and advocate for tending the soul. With more than thirty years of experience in contemplative practice, and drawing on her background as a former registered nurse, she embodies a passion for healing. Join us!
Class fee includes all materials and a take home mandala coloring book!
Class is held at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation gallery in suite F160, in the Hill Country Galleria, across from Dillard's and H&M.
