A Morning of Maths Play

Come along to celebrate Maths Play's Big Day of Maths Play (28 June 2023) by enjoying some playful maths activities together.
The special will include opportunities to create beautiful designs, explore puzzles, and play games.

Alex identifies as a 'formerly maths-anxious student and teacher' who has become passionate about opening up maths in ways that allow more interesting, creative and empowering experiences. Alex is the founder of Maths Play, a community research project collaborating with teachers, schools and other organisations and individuals to better understand what it means to learn through play, and use these understandings to reunite mathematics with play.
