A Nepalese Sound Bowl Immersion for The Fig Tree Children
Event description
Singing bowls in sound healing meditation offers potential health benefits, including stress reduction and improved spiritual wellness.
Poor mood and elevated anxiety are linked to increased incidence of disease. Studies have discovered there are significant beneficial effects of Tibetan singing bowl meditations on several markers related to well-being.
Shayne Warburton, a qualified Tibetan sound bowl practitioner has generously offered to donate her time to facilitate a Nepalese sound bowl immersion charity event for us.
100% of the proceeds are being donated to The Fig Tree Children.
The Fig Tree Children are providing opportunities for 85 orphaned and vulnerable children and youth in Sierra Leone, one of the poorest countries in the world. They do this by paying school fees directly, providing school materials and by giving an allowance to the carer of each child every month.
