A New Dawn Gala Dinner

Buderim Foundation is delighted to announce that Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath will be joining us as the special guest and keynote speaker at our upcoming A New Dawn Celebration.

To accommodate this exciting opportunity, the event date will change from Saturday 8 August 2026 to Saturday 29 August 2026.

We appreciate that any change of date may cause inconvenience and assure you that this decision was not made lightly. However, the opportunity to welcome not only one of Australia's greatest fast bowlers, but also a respected philanthropist and community advocate, was simply too significant to pass up.

During his distinguished cricket career, Glenn McGrath claimed 563 Test wickets and 381 One Day International wickets, helped Australia secure three consecutive Cricket World Cup victories, and still holds the record for the most wickets taken in World Cup history with 71. Beyond his achievements on the field, Glenn co-founded the McGrath Foundation, which has transformed breast cancer support across Australia, and was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2013.

Through his tireless fundraising efforts and dedication to supporting others, Glenn embodies the values of community, generosity and impact that are at the heart of the Buderim Foundation.

We are therefore pleased to invite you to join us for the same spectacular celebration on Saturday 29 August 2026, where Glenn McGrath will share his remarkable story and insights as our special guest and keynote speaker.

We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you.
