    Event description

You are warmly invited to A New Lens: Emerging Researcher Perspectives on the Grimwade Collection —  an evening of presentations by 2024 Miegunyah Student Project awardees.

Each year, with generous support from the Russell and Mab Grimwade Miegunyah Fund, the Museums and Collections Department offers six project awards to the University of Melbourne students. Through the lens of their own areas of study, awardees research works of art in the University’s Grimwade Collection, gaining experience in working with collections of material and visual culture in a collegial, interdisciplinary context.

Please join our 2024 awardees to hear their insightful and creative research presentations, and a special opportunity to view their creative outcomes exhibited alongside featured collection works. Light refreshments will be provided during the break.
