Event description

A New Normal returns with an epic five days of festivities at the Boyd Baker House, Long Forest. This unique experience will bring together leading architects and creative practitioners to come together from across Australia to showcase a range of projects in motion to help transform our cities. On exhibition, the next round of 12 projects with each architect selecting a room across the Robin Boyd / Roy Grounds compound. A New Normal will take the opportunity to lay down the required policy to transform the city into self-sufficiency by 2030. This curated program of talented industry leaders will be showcased through a series of guided tours, talks, lunches and exhibitions are one not to be missed, with limited tickets available each day.

General Information: 

Please meet at the collection point promptly at 8:30AM to ensure the bus can depart on time. All tickets will be verified before you enter the bus, so please ensure you have your ticket on you either via print or mobile to be scanned prior to departure. Please note the bus transport provided is the only transport available to attend the event as their is no onsite parking available. The drive to Long Forest is approximately 50 minutes, pending traffic so please ensure you arrive on time and prepared for a fabulous day ahead. 

As the event is hosted on a remote property, please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear and bring provisions of wet weather wear such as umbrella’s, rain jackets etc. There will be some outdoor walking involved for the site tour and exhibition spaces. Both Lunch and Afternoon Aperitivo will be provided by our friends at Hope Street Radio and Long Prawn. Due to the intentional and site specific preparations going into this meal, we are not able to make menu shifts on the day. The meal is vegetarian with some animal based ingredients diverted from waste. Allergies can only be accommodated with prior notice, so please ensure you include your dietary requirements at point of purchase.
