A New Political Organisation
Description
Come and join other interesting people in a conversation about what ails our political, governing institutions and a way that we might be able to do something about those ailments!
People are pretty unimpressed with the state of government and the political institutions that give us our governments. Community independents have shown us that we can do better; they’ve shown us how to do community-based political representation well.
This kitchen table conversation-like gathering is about exploring whether we can go further and build a political organisation that prioritises our communities and their needs and extends that consideration to every community in the country.
At this gathering we’ll ask:
Does Australia need a new political organisation (to get good government and to help restore faith in our political institutions)?
We’ll explore why we might, or might not need a new organisation. And we’ll share some ideas about what such an organisation would look like.
