Event description

Join us in person for a night of engagement, education and empowerment as we learn from Nicole and Jacqui about the Voice to Parliament through their unique workshop called "Walking Together".

This workshop is a great opportunity to become more informed about our history and reconciliation in the lead up to the Voice to Parliament Referendum in October. In the Uluru Statement from the Heart, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have called for a Voice to Parliament and issued an invitation to all Australians to walk with them for a better future.

Are you curious to find out what this means and how you can be an ally through this process? Through the workshop, you will gain knowledge, understanding and empathy to help you work productively alongside First Nations Australians. The facilitators generously share their own experiences and help put the Uluru Statement and the Voice Referendum into the bigger context.
