Get ready to shine on stage in "An Evening on Broadway: Heroes vs Villains"! Here's everything you need to know:
📅 Audition Dates: Sunday, April 21st
⏰ Time Slots: 9-11am & 12-2pm
📍 Location: Northpine Christian College Drama Room, 29 Hughes Rd E, Dakabin QLD 4503
To audition:
🎤 Prepare a 1-minute hero or villain song to sing acapella or with a backing track on USB.
🎭 Cold-read a hero and/or villain monologue provided by the director.
💃 Follow a dance led by the Choreographer.
🌟 Virtual auditions are available upon request. 🎥
Show Overview:
🎶 Join us for a Cabaret featuring iconic characters and songs from musical theatre. Two MCs will present the show, inviting the audience to join the debate over which side is better through songs and scenes.
Performance Date: September 7th 2024 @ 7:00pm
Known Characters:
🦸♂️ Good MC
🦹♂️ Evil MC
💃 Dancers
🎤 Singers
Specific characters will be decided collaboratively during rehearsals
Rehearsals:
📆 Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5:45pm – 9:00pm, and Sundays from 4:00-8:00pm starting on May 12th.
🎭 Technical rehearsals will be the week prior to opening night.
Auditions:
🎭 Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 21st from 9-11am & 12-2pm at Northpine Christian College.
🎬 Group auditions will be held in 2 hour slots. Wear comfortable clothing for movement.
Membership:
💼 Membership of Introspect Theatre Company is compulsory to perform with us. The membership fee for the year is $60.
