A Night Out at the Movies

A cinematic concert experience featuring live orchestral accompaniment to Buster Keaton’s silent movie One Week (1920). In a unique artistic collaboration, classical masterworks have been specially arranged to accompany the film, recreating the excitement atmosphere of silent cinema.

The evening will also feature pianist and composer Sergio Salani, whose music was featured in the film Texas Rhapsody, for which the Big Spring Symphony Orchestra recorded the original soundtrack. Salani will perform selections from the film score and make history with the world premiere of his First Piano Concerto.

Combining film, storytelling, and live orchestral performance, A Night Out at the Movies offers audiences a memorable celebration of music and cinema.
