A 2026 river kick-off

Dive into a new year with us!

It's 2026! And what better way to start the year than coming together on the river.

For us, the coming year is about deepening the journey to transform Greater Melbourne into the regenerative city we want and need. Before the year fires up, we'd like to take a moment to celebrate the company that makes this work so energising.

Join us to welcome 2026 with a boat cruise on the Birrarung!

We'll spend an evening as a community on the river, sharing an experience with the waters that are at the heart of so much of our work.

We hope you can come and celebrate together, honouring this lifeblood that guides and sustains our vision. We can't wait to see you there.

Please note:

• The boat will leave at 5:30pm so please arrive a few minutes before then to allow time for everyone to board

• We'll provide food, and there will be bar with drinks for purchase

• The program for the evening will be light, with a few words from the RM team and plenty of time to enjoy the company of the river and each other
