A Rocky Horror Tribute Show
Join professional theatre facilitators, collaborate with other queer extraterrestrials and strengthen your self-esteem through a 3-month theatre program. No experience required.
Each rehearsal and psychodrama workshop will be led by playwright, director and counsellor, Sage Scott. Additional assistance will be provided by:

What:
Beyond the Shadow is a creative program, consisting of a weekly psychodrama workshop & rehearsal throughout 2022. Participants will receive training in performing and making theatre, take part in psychodrama methods & be involved in a final production.
Psychodrama is an action based therapy which uses role playing and drama to assist participants to understand and resolve past stressors. For more information: https://intotheshadow.com.au/b...
WHEN:
Workshops will take place every Tuesdays 5-7pm starting from 12th of July 2022 - 4th of October 2022. The final production will be on the 7th of October.
Where:
Workshops will be held at The Base (3 Tudor St, Newcastle West). Production is at The Creative Arts Space (145 Beaumont St, Hamilton).
Who:
Adults (15+) living and/or working in Newcastle or surrounding LGAS (commitment to most sessions is essential).
Cost:
$20 per session or $300 for the 13 session and production costs.
