WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE EVENING
7:00pm – Doors Open
Arrive from 7pm, grab a drink and take your seat. There’ll be time to settle in, meet others and get comfortable before we begin.
7:30pm – An Evening with Lisa Squire
Lisa will share the story of her daughter Libby and speak about the work she now does through It Does Matter.
She’ll talk about violence against women, sexual offending and the behaviours that can sometimes be dismissed or overlooked, as well as why recognising these behaviours, speaking up and reporting them matters.
This is an opportunity to listen, learn and hear directly from Lisa about why this work is so important.
8:30pm – Questions & Open Discussion
We’ll open up the room for questions and conversation.
This is a chance to ask Lisa questions, share thoughts and discuss some of the issues raised during the evening in a small and intimate setting.
9:00pm – Approximate Finish
We aim to finish at around 9pm, although we may run slightly over if there are lots of questions and the conversation is flowing.
This event is open to everyone — women, mums, dads, parents, carers, grandparents, partners and anyone who feels this is a conversation they want or need to be part of.
Tickets are just £5, including soft refreshments, with all proceeds going directly to It Does Matter.
With only 25 places available, early booking is strongly recommended.
Content warning: This evening will include sensitive subjects including rape and self-harm.
