Panel Discussion: How do different disciplines engage with the Queensland Herbarium collection?

Herbarium Collections are used in many different ways by practitioners of many different disciplines. In this panel discussion we will hear from a Botanist, a Philosopher and two artists to hear how they access, utilize and enhance our understanding of the Queensland Herbarium collection, particularly with respect to a changing climate.

Climate change poses a threat to all life forms, and the panel will discuss how herbarium collections can be used to examine the notion of interconnected well-being between plants and humans; exploring this complex relationship through cross disciplinary dialogue and artistic outcomes.
