Event description

Take a moment to look around and a moment to look within.

A Sense of Nature, a new cabaret written and performed by local singer-songwriters, Jennifer Trijo and Emma Knights, is a musical conversation that delves into our connection with the natural world and the essence of our own human nature.

As we exist in the anthropic era, this cabaret investigates ideas of being a part of nature and being separate from it. Through stories and songs these two songbirds will take you on a stroll, navigating the realms of the natural world and our place within it.

The mix of original songs and inventive covers features songs about human nature, about how wheat has become the dominant plant on the planet, and even includes a song from the imagined perspective of a tree.

Can you hear the whispers of the wild alongside the beats of your own heart? Where does your compass guide you?

A Sense of Nature is presented by Emma Knights Productions.

Enhance your evening with picnic boxes for a selection of treats, available for pre-order to pick up from the Noel Lothian Hall.
