A Song For Bob
Event description
Let’s come together to sing a Song for Bob!
Song for Bob is an annual mental health fundraiser and community
event held at the Murrah Hall. We are working closely with leading
mental health organisation RUOK? and other local businesses to bring
people together through music, and, in turn, create pathways to begin a
conversation and spread awareness.
Our very first event was held in early 2023. The gig fundraised for
mental health and suicide prevention, after the tragic loss of Bob Harris,
a father, friend and Murrah Hall champion. Our amazing community
came together with 15 musical acts from near and far, and raised over
$6000.
Song for Bob 2024 will have 18 acts over 2 stages starting in the day
and taking us right through the night. Our lineup is packed with a wide
variety of music genres from rock, blues, folk to hip-hop, funk and
electronic. This year we are also hosting some of the Far South Coast's best DJ's.
