A Spooky OktobeerFest Beer Pairing Dinner

Get ready for a hauntingly delicious evening as we summon the spirits of hops and harvest for A Spooky OktobeerFest Beer Pairing Dinner! This 5-course feast features ghoulishly good dishes paired exclusively with brews from Stubborn Brothers Brewery in Shawano, WI.

From “Witch's Knuckles & Cauldron Cheese” to “Dark Spell Cake with Ghost Whip,” each course is paired with a Stubborn Brothers beer that’s bold, flavorful, and frightfully fun.

Come dressed to impress! Guests will have a chance to win a prize for Best Dressed on Theme—so break out your lederhosen, ghostly glam, or beer-loving beast attire.

Harvest Moon Cocktail Starter: A HUB original with local apple cider, Stubborn Brothers Oktoberfest Beer, cinnamon and a splash of bourbon. 

Witch's Knuckles & Cauldron Cheese:  Pretzel Knots with House-made Beer Cheese Dip paired with Drop Top Sour Radler 

Smoky Souls Stew:  Savory, rich lentil stew with smoked sausage paired with Wolf River Porter

Root Awakening Salad:  Roasted root vegetables with baby arugula and a Wisconsin Maple Syrup Dijon Vinaigrette Paired with Blood Moon Wheat

Braised Beast with Buttered Bones:  Beer braised pork shoulder with authentic buttered german spaetzle and rotkohl slaw (red cabbage slaw) paired with Oktoberfest

Dark Spell Cake with PB Ghost Whip: Chocolate Stout Cake with Peanut Butter Whiskey Whipped Cream paired with Boilermaker Peanut Butter Whiskey Porter.
