Join Riverina Local Land Services, John Piltz, Craig Plum (Tarcutta Nutrien) and Micheal Savli (Lallemand) for day in the paddock focused on making informed decisions this spring around livestock, pastures and production. Walk away with the skills to take accurate feed tests and measure dry matter in the paddock.
Topics will include:
decision making in spring based on seasonal conditions
when to lock up paddocks for silage or hay
critical control points during silage production
managing spring growth and grazing pressure
feed budgeting and assessing pasture quality
learn how to take feed tests and measure dry matter in the paddock.
