Are you interested in stand-up comedy but not sure where to start? Are you looking for some positive direction in writing and performing stand-up? This four-week class is a great place to start. Learn the basics from a 30-year San Francisco veteran who regularly performs at the San Francisco Punch Line and Cobbs Comedy Club.

Through a combination of instruction and workshop-style feedback with the class, you will build a five-minute set, work on practical performance skills, and develop your voice. Joe doesn't promise to make you funnier, but he does promise to share the tips and tricks that all stand-up comics have used to create and perform their sets. Once the 4-week classes are completed, all students will show off their hard work in a graduation show where they will perform their sets!

If you are looking for a fast-paced, fun, informative, and supportive way to dive into the world of stand-up comedy, this is the perfect class for you.
