How will your support help RMHC South East Queensland?
Meet Oliver's Family – Glass House Mountains, Sunshine Coast
When little Oliver was just two years old, his family received the devastating news that he had T Cell ALL Leukaemia, a rare form with a genetic mutation—only the 28th known case in the world. What began as flu-like symptoms quickly led to an urgent diagnosis and transfer to Queensland Children’s Hospital for intensive treatment. Since May, Oliver’s mum Jayde have been staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland, while dad and older brother Mason commute each Friday. The family says RMHC SEQ has given them a home away from home, helping them stay together through Oliver’s ongoing chemotherapy and recovery. With heartfelt gratitude, they share how essential the charity’s support has been—and encourage others to give, reminding us that anyone could one day need this life-changing help.
